Client: Unitary Authority Department Need: The management team included experienced leaders from former local authorities which had been merged. They brought different management styles and organisational values with them. The General Manager asked us to provide a teambuilding experience which would help them communicate better with each other and with their own staff. Solution: Personality profiles for the 9-strong senior management team provided the foundation for 3 days spread over 2 months of interactive and challenging sessions combining teambuilding with communications coaching. Outcomes: more efficient management team meetings greater co-operation and understanding within the team reduced “silo effect” within department greater self-awareness and leadership of senior managers
